Wordy Wednesday #133 “On Track with Locomotive 318”

Recently I was testing the new Tamron 28-300mm f/3.5-6.3 Di VC PZD lens for Shutterbug magazine (look an in-depth review on-line real soon now) and took it to the Colorado Railroad Museum along with two Canon bodies—an EOS 5D Mark I and an EOS 50D that was converted to infrared capture by LifePixel. On the EOS 50D the lens has the angle-of-view of a 45-480mm lens. Exposure was 1/800 sec at f/16 and ISO 400.

Special offer for readers of this blog: If you want to save a few bucks when converting your camera to infrared when ordering a conversion from LifePixel, use the coupon code “farace.”
