Wordy Wednesday #106 “Platte Valley Medical Center”

When I lived North of Denver, one of my favorite subjects to photograph was the Platte Valley Medical Center. (Much like photographing the gazebo in Parker CO’s O’Brien park is now that i live on Daisy Hill.)

I originally photographed the hospital from approximately the same place and time of day but at a different time of year with a Nikon D3. The exposure for this D3X shot was 1/125 at f/22 and ISO 200, which was very close to the original but because of the time of year the lighting is completely different and I must confess that, image quality aside, I like this version better, which was converted to monochrome with Nik Silver Efex
