“Colorado Railroad Museum ”
The Colorado Railroad Museum was founded by Robert W. Richardson and Cornelius W. Hauck in 1959. Then, and now, their mission is dedicated to preserving for future generations a tangible record of Colorado’s dynamic railroad era and particularly its pioneering, narrow gauge mountain railroads. It is also one of my favorite places to make photographs. The museum is open daily, year round from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Check their website for special holiday hours.
