Solving the Foggy Lens Dilemma

In a recent podcast a listener asked me about dealing with foggy lenses and I offered several possibilities for solving that problem and today I want to give you another one:

In our part of the country and probably many of yours too, winter is here and with cold weather comes foggy lenses on your cameras, binoculars and telescopes. Yup, I have small computer controlled Meade that’s a lot easier to use now that I’m on Daisy Hill.

For years I’ve been a fan of LensPen’s products because they solve problems of keeping gear clean and do it in a simple, inexpensive, yet elegant fashion. Now they have a solution for foggy lenses. Their new FogKlear gives your lenses strong anti-fog protection in a natural fiber cloth. The FogKlear cloth offers more than 200 separate anti-fog applications and does it all by itself without requiring liquids, sprays or tissues. All for an MSRP of $8.95.

FogKlear is environmentally friendly is included in LensPen’s OutDoorPro Kit which contains everything you need to care for the lenses of your scopes, binoculars, and cameras and more. For $34.95 it includes one original LensPen, a LensPen MiniPro, a MicroKlear Microfiber Cloth, a FogKlear Antifog Cloth and a Nylon case with Belt Loop.
