Hard Case/Soft Case: Pelican’s ProGear S130

Pelican ProGear S130 Backpack Pelican’s ProGear S130 Backpack combines aspects of both soft and the hard cases that the company’s name in synonymous. This seemingly indestructible backpack is TSA ready and under seat convenient. It features an integrated crushproof case that will protect your tablet or laptop. It is top-loading providing fast access to the contents.

The backpack features a built-in watertight, crushproof compartment to protect a camera body, extra lenses and flash equipment. It’s watertight to 3.2 feet (one meter) for 30 minutes and is O-ring gasket sealed with a pressure equalization valve. It has removable padded dividers to protect and organize cameras, tablets, and other devices. Naturally, the cloth—durable rip-stop nylon—portion of the backpack is not watertight. There’s a chest clip and removable hip belt along with floating shoulder straps and lumbar pad, including an ergonomic ventilated back.
