Ball Head & Tilt/Pan tripod Head: Induro PHD3

Business Fridays goes on hiatus for 2013. In its place, I’ll be showing new products that you should find useful and can also make wonderful holiday gifts for yourself or a friend. There’s always a debate about which is best—ball head or tilt/pan. Now there’s…

Induro PHD3Induro’s PHD3 Multi-Axis Panhead offers photographers the convenience and speed of a ball head with the precise control of a pan head making it ideal for architectural photography, studio or on-location shoots—anywhere speed and precise camera position are important. Each PHD3 includes a Arca-Swiss compatible Quick Release Plate.

A locking knob with a  graduated scale controls 360° rotation on a panning base and the  top mounted Quick Release system can be rotated 90° to match the orientation of any Arca-Swiss style compatible camera, lens or accessory plate. A double safety lock on the QR clamp allows lateral adjustment while also assuring a secure change of equipment.

Induro PHD3Features of the new Induro PHD3 Multi-Axis Panhead include single knob, dual front/rear and side/side tilt control for independent on-axis settings with either left or right hand operation. It has a high-visibility bubble level to maintain horizontal camera positioning and alignment. The PHD3 offers horizontal pan locking control, base mounted laser engraved graduated scale, double safety qr lock with dual-action control and Balance and Nodal Point Positioning (with optional 3rd party accessories) for advanced panoramic and 3D photography.
