It seems to me we’ve had more than normal snowfall this season and in the last few weeks I’ve featured weather related posts on Wordy Wednesday. The Denver area gets 54 snow days a year but because Daisy Hill is at a higher altitude and south of Denver we will either get more snow than that or less—lots more or lots less.
With yesterday’s storm producing snow accumulations of 18 to 24-inches in the Denver area. It’s hard to tell how much there is here on Daisy Hill but I shoveled snow that was more than 24-inches deep off the steps leading up to my front door.
One way I always get a handle on depth is to see how much snow there is on the table on our patio—like this shot from Mary’s office window made with my 60D and EF 28-135 f/3.5-5.6 lens (at 28mm) with an exposure of 1/125 sec at f/9 and ISO 100. Converted to black and white with Silver Efex Pro.
