A barn find is a classic car or motorcycle that has been discovered, often in derelict condition. The term comes from their tendency to be found in places such as barns and outbuildings where they have been stored for many years.
Shot with my old Canon EOS 20D, Tamron 10-22mm lens and an exposure of 1/320 sec at f/11 and ISO 400. Tweaked in Google’s free Vivenza software.
Tomorrow on my automobile photography website/blog, I’ll be featuring a book review of Route 66 Barn Find Road Trip, a wonderful book about cruising The Mother Road looking for barn finds and derelicts that could be turned into the stuff that dreams are made from. It’s not too early to be planning a holiday gift and a gift wrapped copy of Route 66 Barn Find Road Trip would make a wonderful Christmas present for yourself or a loved one. If you’re undecided, please read my review tomorrow and see what I have to say.
