Every night when I drive home from work I go through this village that has a bunch of lights up for the holiday season and told myself that I would have to get out and shoot them-from the car. Here’s a shot I made last week.

I made it with a remote triggered Canon EOS 7D mounted on suction cup on the sunroof of my car. Lens was a Tamron 11-19mm set at 11mm that was manually focused with a 10 second shutter speed. Oh, I made sure the camera strap was hanging into the car just in case the suction mount did not hold… I was only driving about 40 kph (about 25 mph in the USA). No, its not from Star Wars!
