Shoot with Joe Lighting Workshops in 2022

Today’s Post by Joe Farace

For years people have been asking if they could shoot with me. Now you can during a series of one-on-one “Shoot with Joe” workshops that will be going on sometime during 2022.

This will be a  two and one-half hour workshop with just you me and our model. (and the workshop is model dependent; if you can bring a model, a new rate can be negotiated.) The shoot can be film or digital-oriented; you get to pick the format we’ll work in.

Shoots with Joe are being held in my home studio that’s located approx. 20 miles south of Denver,  and five miles from Parker, Colorado. And it’s approximately 35 miles from Colorado Springs. Shoots are typically scheduled on Saturday mornings but we may be able to accommodate some special time/day requests, again depending on model availability.

You can join me for an actual model shoot for this blog to see how I work with the model, the lighting, cameras and lenses that are used to make some of the images that you see here each week. You’ll also get some insight on how I work with experienced and inexperienced models.

This is an informal session and you will be able ask questions at any time as well as shoot photographs for your own portfolio.

If you want to “Shoot with Joe” click on the Contact button above to contact me to schedule a time that’s convenient for your own one-on-one session.

Can’t attend a workshop? If you’re interested in shooting portraits and how I use cameras, lenses and lighting in my in-home studio, please pick up a copy of Studio Lighting Anywhere that’s available from Amazon.com with new copies selling for $33.95 with used books starting at around eight bucks, as I write this. The Kindle version is $19.99 for those preferring a digital format.
