This new section of the blog will be a place that will be exactly how it sounds: It will be a place were I will sell cameras, lenses, speedlights and other equipment that I no longer need or use. All photographs are of the actual items. But first a mention of the condition of the gear itself:
When it comes to caring for photo equipment, there seem to be three kinds of photographers: This first group of people are the Oscar Madisons of photography. At the opposite extreme is (obviously) Felix Unger. Between these two extremes lie most of us, but I will confess to Unger-like impulses about caring for my photo equipment. You can read about this more, along with some tips on cleaning lenses, on my car photography blog.
For Sale: Lightly and carefully used Canon 420EX Speedlight. Includes case, original box, instruction manual, and stand. The 420EX is fully E-TTL-compatible, and reverts to standard TTL operation when used on older EOS bodies. The fully swiveling bounce head zooms automatically over a range of 24mm-105mm. Wireless E-TTL compatibility permits it to function as a “slave” unit, triggered by a 550EX; ST-E2, or MR-14EX. Photographs are of actual speedlight. $50 plus shipping. If you live in Colorado pickup can be arranged at a convenient Starbucks.
For Sale: Lightly and carefully used Canon 220EX Speedlight. Includes case, original box and instruction manual, $30 plus shipping. Package Deal: Purchase the 420EX speedlight along with the 220EX for a total of $75 with free shipping and I will include a bonus of a Sto-Fen diffuser kit that includes three diffusers: soft white, green (for use with FL lighting) and yellow (for use with tungsten lighting.)
The Canon EF 22-55mm USM lens has nine elements in nine groups and uses 58mm filters. It is in EXC+ to LN condition and will focus as close as 13.8-inches. It’s a great alternative to the EF-S 18-55mm kit lens and includes front and rear caps as well as EW-60D lens hood, itself a $26 value. The lens has USM so it focuses fast and it’s an inexpensive lens that works with any EOS DSLR, including the 5D. The lens will be delivered in the original box with original instruction sheet. There’s even a Flickr group dedicated to this lens and I’ve made lots of great photos with it as well. These lenses sell for more than the asking price and don’t include the lens hood. $5o plus FedEx Home shipping.
Purchase: If you are interested in purchasing these items or have a question, click Contact above or e-mail me directly at joefarace at gmail dot com.
Shipping: For buyers in the US only. Shipping will be charged at the actual cost. I will email you a quote for shipping, once I know where it’s being shipped to. If you have a FedEx account, I will ship to you via whatever FedEx service you prefer and the cost will be billed to you directly by them.
Payment: If shipped—via PayPal, if in person delivery Cash.
Coming Next Week: A pair of Canon EX speedlights.
