Coffee & Cameras is, Hopefully, Coming Back Next Month

Today’s Post by Joe Farace

One of the things I’ve wanted to do for several years was to have regular meet and greet events over coffee or tea and be able to informally chat with readers of this blog and watchers of my YouTube videos about cameras and photography. A few years ago, the first series of these one-hour Coffee & Cameras events was a success but after the pandemic not so much. This Spring I’ve decided to give it another try.

I wanted to pick a location that was convenient for me and located near a major highway and the winner was the Starbucks location at 9328 Jordan Rd, Parker, CO 80134, which is right next to E-470. (Their phone number is (720) 842-5165.) The location is also next to a Loaf & Jug and across the street from a new QT gas station and they are currently having a price war. So it might be a good place to “tank up” before or after the event.

Let me know if you think Saturday mornings at 9:30 AM is still a good day and time for the event.a And if you have any other ideas let me know via the Contact page.

One change to the format will be that I would like to bring along a guest who will have something to say about photography and be another resource for anyone who has questions. Looks for details about the next date real soon now. Another change is that I would like everyone who is interested in attending to please RSVP via the Contact page and just say, “I’ll be there” or something like it. The event is still free but if nobody’s attending, neither will I.

If you enjoyed today’s blog post and would like to treat me to a cup of Earl Grey tea ($2.50), please click here. And if you do, thanks so much.

Along with photographer Barry Staver, I’m co-author of Better Available Light Digital Photography that’s available from Amazon for $21.88 prices with used copies selling at the giveaway price of less than two bucks, as I write this, less than you next grandé coffee at Starbucks.
